Your Joke of the Day.

Guy walks into a bar, says to the bartender "Give me a beer!"

He then proceeds to drink himself to death because he is a lonely alcoholic.

Jason Rouse: Random Act of Violence World Tour 2011.

Remember when I told you a few years ago to watch for Jason Rouse and then he disappeared off the grid?  Well, he is back with a tour, soon-to-be comedy special, and people are about to be offended.  Again.

Jerry Seinfeld Launches New Personal Archives Site.

http://www.jerryseinfeld.com/

Each day he’ll be posting 3 hand selected clips from his televised history in an attempt to create a digital archive of his 30 year stand up history. Here’s his personal statement from the site…

When I was ten years old, I started watching
stand up comedians on TV.

I fell in love with them and I’m just as fascinated
with stand up comedy today.

When I started doing TV, I saved every appearance
on every show I did.

I thought it might be fun to go through all of it
and pick out three bits each day that still
amuse me for some reason or another.

I’ve also included stuff I’m doing now, and I’ll be
adding new stuff as I go.

Somewhere out there are ten year olds
just waiting to get hooked on this strange pursuit.

This is for them.
I’m just hoping somehow it will keep this silliness going.

Now go forth and watch clips.

Easter Puddin'.

Are you guys watching this yet?
Because if you can't appreciate the joy this brings to your life in one minute segments, five days a week then I don't think we can be friends anymore.

Ricky Gervais Makes Fun of Louis CK.

In this video, Ricky Gervais makes fun of Louis CK for making a fool of himself in front of John Oates of Hall and Oates. If you need more information than that in order to get you to watch this video, I don't know what you're doing on here.

"Wake the Fuck Up."

Kyle Cease sent this call-to-arms out for anyone who is feeling stuck or dis-empowered by the state of the world right now, whether that be the US turmoil or the Canadian electorate apathy or the tragic disharmony around the world.  I was lucky enough to have him send it to me. Please watch this. It is beautiful.

And this is a beautiful reponse video from a man who is having the exact reaction that I hope everyone is having after watching that:

I will now assume the "get off the internet" message was especially directed at me and shut this down for a while.

Loves, Guys.

Puddin': Calvin Klein.

Puddin' is a live action single panel comic, updated Monday -Friday.

Consider it an homage for Global. ;)

Good Morning.

A sweet trending topic on Twitter is #ThingsiMissFromChildhood.  A comedian Mike Baldwin was brilliant at it all.  It was a great way to wake up... a sunrise, some sweet memories, and a coffee.  Good morning, indeed.

Like Midnight Cowboy, but... y'know... Sad.

So, Kyle Kinane decided to take a Greyhound Bus rather than drive himself to a show (he is very wealthy, you know.)  He has been exceptionally entertaining:

I LOVE this man.  (Shawn, this was pretty much entirely posted for you.)

(Sorry about the order.  Twitter makes it hard to screen shot since it is all in order of most recent tweet but I wasn't taking individual screen shots of each one because we all know I don't like blogging *that* much.)

The Situation is Dire.

The Situation was on the Roast of Donald Trump last night and it was everything you thought it would be and then some more embarrassment.
For you Twitter followers, the live tweets coming from fellow roasters was exceptional. Even THEY had no idea it would be as bad as it was.

You see, when the true roasters do what they do, they do it with love. That is how you get to be a good roaster- respect. The Situation lacks that entirely. He just came off as an arrogant asshole who thinks he's better than everyone and has a platform to showcase it.

What's funnier than THAT?!

Hey Situation, don't the door hit you in the abs on the way out.

Comedy Networking.

I now have about 40 stand up comedians as friends on my Facebook page, thanks to the likes of Kyle Kinane and Blaine Capatch.  The best shit is never on the fan pages.  Facebook has become a whole new world in the past week.

Now how do I convince them to get me free tickets to their Burbank shows?

Kyle Kinane is Amazing. My Comic of the Week, for sure.

Kyle Kinane: It's Saturday, so go ahead and listen to "Ditty" by Paperboy. At your age, nobody cares anymore anyway.
